to express yourself through the visual arts.
ABOUT
enFAMILIA Path to Success is a culturally diverse program that ensures each student successfully passes to the next grade level, along with receiving the tools needed to succeed in life through academic assistance, social support through enrichment activities such as arts and sports, and one on one mentorship.
ART
Art is very essential part of our curriculum, where students are able to express themselves through different mediums. It is offered as part of the curriculum to stimulate the students who want to engage through the arts. Art classes are offered to the students every day from 4:45pm-5:45pm after their tutoring session, in 1 hour segments. The option to engage in the art session is up to the student’s decision.
SPORTS
Sports programs are offered from Monday through Thursday from 4:45pm-5:45pm.Students learn how to use gross motor skills while developing social skills. Every day the students have the opportunity to participate in sports, where they play games such as kick ball, soccer and participate in team time. Students use sport as a way to relieve stress and socialize. They engage in 1 hour sessions, and have the option to participate in the activity for the day.
TUTORING
Tutoring is offered every day (Monday through Friday), students arrive to the center and begin on their homework. A tutor aides them to complete homework and to get extra help in the areas where they need more assistance such as math, reading, language arts, science and social studies. Each tutoring session is 1 hour and 30 mins long, based on what the child needs help in. Every day the student has the option to do the tutoring session, before going to the enrichment that is being offered that day.
